NewsTweet was originally built for standalone use and later adapted for use as a WordPress Plugin. NewsTweet uses the Twitter search API and AJAX to check for new posts containing a user-defined search term and displays them on the users site. This was developed with the help of my brother and is catching on thanks in part to a tweet from Smashing Magazine. Now available in the official WordPress Plugin repository.
